BOOK 08, CHAPTER 3, PAGE 22

Life is short, spring into action and live today’s beginning

If you have only one smile in you,

give it to the people you love.

Don't be surly at home,

then go out in the street and start grinning

'Good morning' at total strangers.

Maya Angelou

No matter what the case, the people in our own houses need our love and respect just as much--if not more--than total strangers do

GOOD MORNING !

This time tomorrow morning I’ll be waking up to giggles and laughs as DS#1’s three children will be looking for what the Easter Bunny brought them. That will be fun for sure.

I’ll have to remember the camera and get pictures to share. I plan to leave here about 10 this morning and spend the rest of today and tomorrow at their house then return by early evening so my entry for Easter will not be made til Sunday evening.

I’ve read many times that we loose the ability for laughter as we grow older. It is so true. If you spend a little time with young people you are reminded just how often they do laugh. The newness of each day never wears out for the little ones. They always find something newand delightful in each moment.

Often times the seriousness of life takes over and we forget the power that pleasure and laughter can bring. Your shift in attitudes can shift your life from the shadows into the sunshine. I’m all for more sunshine for sure.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

It is easy to love the people far away.

It is not always easy to love those close to us.

It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger

than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone

unloved in our own home.

Bring love into your home for this

is where our love for each other must start.

Mother Teresa

May your day be filled with blessings

As new as Spring

As fragrant as flowers

As full as your heart can hold.

MA
