Attitude

There once was a woman who woke up one morning,

looked in the mirror, and noticed she had

only three hairs on her head. Well," she said,

"I think I'll braid my hair today?"

So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up,

looked in the mirror and saw that

she had only two hairs on her head.

"H-M-M," she said,

"I think I'll part my hair down the middle today?"

So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up,

looked in the mirror and noticed that

she had only one hair on her head.

"Well," she said,

"today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail."

So she did and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up,

looked in the mirror and noticed that

there wasn't a single hair on her head.

"YEA!" she exclaimed,

"I don't have to fix my hair today!"

Attitude is everything.

Be kinder than necessary,

for everyone you meet is

fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply,

Love generously,

Care deeply,

Speak kindly.......

GOOD MORNING !

Sometimes I think I must have an attitude problem. I don’t mean to, but if you were to ask any of my family or friends, I’m sure they would say I’m very opinionated, I do have rather strong feelings and beliefs and find it hard to relate to some things.

I’m beginning to think that must come with age. There is not much room for pessimism in my life. I firmly believe in looking at the bright side and looking for anything positive to grasp at. No matter how down and out things have been in my life – there has always been something to be thankful for and to rejoice in.

On the bright side of things I have a vacation day tomorrow.

DD and I always take the day to go to the Outlet Mall and shop for some Presidents Day sales. Very often we find lots of good bargains. It’s a time for me to spend the day with my daughter and I do enjoy it.

I would not usually have the dayoff, though all banks, schools , government offices and the post office are closed today, but I take one of my precious vacation days.

As always, I’m off to church this morning for my weekly dose of R & R and will be remembering all of you in prayer.

It is snowing again here...
