CHAPTER 1, PAGE 15

Every person must have a concern for self, and feel a responsibility to discover one’s mission in life.

God has given each normal person a capacity to achieve some end. True, some are endowed with more talent than others, but God has left none of us without talent.

Potential powers of creativity are within us, and we have a duty to work assiduously to discover these powers

Martin Luther King Jr.

GOOD MORNING !

We often think that what we do doesn’t matter, but it does. We don’t always know what effect we may have had on someone’s life, and that is just all the more reason that in whatever we are doing, we do our very best.

A smile , a kind work, a tender touch may be all that is needed to make soneone’s day a little brighter. There are so many that have problems that we could never dream of and a little gentleness can make a big difference.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal…when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands…

Martin Luther King Jr.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

There is never something wrong with being someone special

Dorothea Lynde Dix

May your day be blessed with a few SMILES and lots of SUNSHINE to warm your heart !

I have always thought that bus drivers were amongst the most influential people on the planet. A smile from the bus driver on the way to work sets the day for most of us and we, in turn, smile at others. A bus driver who gives a snarl has the potential to start off our day on the wrong foot and before we know it the whole workplace, perhaps our friends, family and customers ---everyone has been enveloped with that snarl. A smile is a very powerful expression and I agree, we do need to use them more because they have immense power to those who receive them.
