'THANKFULLY' THURSDAY !

If you own just one Bible you are abundantly blessed; one-third of all the world does not have access to even one.

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.

If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.

If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace...you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still alive and still married...you are very rare, even in the United States.

If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful...you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder...you are blessed because you can offer God's healing touch.

If you prayed yesterday and today...you are in the minority because you believe God does hear and answer prayers.

If you believe in Jesus as the son of God...you are part of a small minority in the world.

If you can read this message...you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.

Thank you Lord for the blessings we have.

GOOD MORNING !

I have a new word - BRRRCHILL . It is very BRRRCHILL here! Winter is very BRRRCHILL!

On my TO DO LIST today:

Put something Christmassy in every room in your home

Decorate a guest bath or your only bath: Wrap the tissue box like a gift, tie ribbons to the shower curtain rings and set out small fragrant flower arrangements.

Put out a potpourri of pine needles, orange rinds and cinnamon sticks

Have fun decorating! It does help bring a little SUNSHINE to the gloomy winter days !

***BIG SMILE***

May your hearts be warm

And your friends be many

May your home be filled

With the joys of the season

MA

It came with out ribbons it came without tags.

it came without packages, boxes or bags.

Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store.

Maybe Christmas -means a little bit more

The Grinch

Lovely entry.  On my journal under favourite sites you will find a link Donate a Bible to a Christian just by clicking.  I do it regularly.
