WHAT SHALL I GIVE FOR CHRISTMAS
A listening ear to the friend with a heartache.
A thank you to the tired salesperson who serves you.
Laughter to brighten a less-fortunate's life.
A kiss and a hug for a handicapped child.
Time to read to the sightless.
An act of kindness to the shut-in.
A cheery greeting to one who is ill.
A smile to the elderly person who is struggling to walk.
A written message to a lonely one.
How simple our Christmas shopping can be this year - And every year - when we give gifts of the heart.

GOOD MORNING !
I’ve got my gifts wrapped, the upstairs clean and the groceries purchased. AND I got to go to the grocery store on my lunch hour yesterday, so I’m one step ahead of myself.
Tonight, after work and after my hair cut, I’ll clean up the basement, just in case anyone wants to use the craft table (I mean pool table).
Then Friday evening all I’ll have to do is make my deviled eggs and layered salad. Some people call it the 24 hour salad. You make a layers of salad greens, frozen peas, thinly sliced onions, and mayonnaise. Then top it off with grated cheddar cheese. It has to be refrigerated overnight.
The weather here looks very iffy today so it looks like it may be a s l o w drive home. More snow! ***BIG SMILE***
Take good care all !

May every heart and every home

To feel the warmth and wonder
Of this season of good cheer

If we take the time to stop and bless what we have—our food, our home, our family—we can learn to appreciate each moment and gain happiness from living in the fullness of the present.
