SUDDENLY SUNDAY

For the hay and the corn and the wheat that is reaped,

For the labor well done, and the barns that are heaped,

For the sun and the dew and the sweet honeycomb,

For the rose and the song and the harvest brought home --

Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!

For the trade and the skill and the wealth in our land,

For the cunning and strength of the workingman's hand,

For the good that our artists and poets have taught,

For the friendship that hope and affection have brought --

Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!

For the homes that with purest affection are blest,

For the season of plenty and well-deserved rest,

For our country extending from sea unto sea;

The land that is known as the Land of the Free --

Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving

GOOD MORNING !

I have got my cup of good coffee and am slowly trying to wake up this morning.  Today is definitely a day of R & R for me.  We had a beautiful get together yesterday.  I always am amazed at how much my grand babes grow in between the times we are able to visit.  I am so Thankful for holidays .They have all gone home except for the Newlyweds and they will leave sometime this afternoon.

Here is another tip for enjoying winter :

Some people sleep better in cold bedrooms, particularly when they snuggle under cotton flannel sheets

I certainly love my flannels ***BIG SMILE***

We will be off to church soon and will be giving thanks for all our blessings.  May you be blessed with some R & R today too. Refreshed and renewed for another week.

Why do turkeys go gobble, gobble?

Because they never learned their table manners!

We see our grandsons on at least a weekly basis and they change every time.  We never have the heating on a night.  We sleep much better without it.  We might consider putting it on if it were really badly sub-zero.

What a lovely celebration and such a fine looking family. Your house was filled with love. Cool bedrooms are the way to go, but have you ever heard of micro fleece sheets. They are so soft and snuggly and you would just love them. Much better than even flannel. It would be difficult to get out of bed on a chilly winter morning once you are snuggled into fleece sheets.
