THE SECRET OF CHRISTMAS
It's not the glow you feel when snow appears,
It's not the Christmas card you've sent for years,
Not the joyful sound when sleigh bells ring,
Or the merry songs children sing.
The little things you do on Christmas Day
Will not bring back the friend you've turned away.
So may I suggest the secret of Christmas
Is not the things you do at Christmas time,
But the little things you do all year through.

I know the days are getting shorter and shorter but in just about one week from now the 1st day of winter will come and then hurray ! The days will start to get longer again. That is something to celebrate.
I’m always looking for the ‘bright side’ of things and this morning that was what I came up with !

Doesn't even seem as if winter is a week away. It's in the 60s here in NY. But I do look forward to longer days. : )
