CHAPTER 12, PAGE 10

Lord, our God, we praise

You for Your Son, Jesus Christ,

for He is Emmanuel, the Hope of all people.

He is the Wisdom that teaches and guides us.

He is the Savior of us all.

O Lord, let your blessing come upon us

as we light the first and second (purple)

candles of this wreath.

May the wreath and its light be a sign

of Christ’s promise of salvation.

May He come quickly and not delay.

We ask this in His holy name. Amen.

Good Morning !

On this Second Sunday of Advent we are reminded that there are only 2 weeks til Christmas. I’ve been receiving lots of cards in the mail and would like to share one that I received from my one of my nieces

Christmas Inspiration

With time we see, through wiser eyes,

The greatest gifts God sends

Aren’t power, fame or furtune,

But our families and our friends,

We find that dreams aren’t just for kids,

That prayer can save the day,

That life’s whole lot sweeter

When we laugh along the way…

We learn that simple caring

Means the world when times are tough,

That hugs can sometimes say it all

When words are not enough,

We learn to keep a childlike faith

Forever in our hearts,

For that’s where hope

And love are born,

Where every good things starts.

With a wish that the faith

In your heart today

Will be a wonderful part

Of all your tomorrows

Have a Blessed Christmas

Wasn’t that a beautiful sentiment. It’s one of the nicest I’ve received. As always I’m off to church today and will be saying a little prayer for all of you !

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Perhaps the best Yuletide decoration is being wreathed in smiles.

Author Unknown

May your day be blessed with a few SMILES and lots of SUNSHINE to warm your heart !

Peace, dear friends,

Christmas love without end.
