BOOK 08, CHAPTER 8, PAGE 8

God has given us

these times of Joy

Psalm 81:4

Life is huge!

Rejoice about the sun, moon, flowers, and sky.

Rejoice about the food you have to eat.

Rejoice about the body that houses your spirit.

Rejoice about the fact that you can

be a positive force in the world around you.

Rejoice about the love that is around you.

If you want to be happy,

commit to making your life one of rejoicing.

A TIME TO ENJOY

GOOD MORNING !

I am rejoicing ! It is FRIDAY!

It was a long week, but now I’ve nothing but 2 days of the weekend ahead and they will be a busy ones for sure.

Enjoying everyday for what it is takes some work sometimes. But Fridays are my favorite. Work will be slow and easy so it may take awhile, but the weekend is almost here.

I worked in the yard a bit after work and didn’t get anything inside done after I finally got home yesterday. It was nice to be out so once again my poor house got no attention. It really isn’t too bad because for the most part no one is here.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

The world is a looking glass,

and gives back to every man

the reflection of his own face.

Frown at it, and it will look sourly upon;

laugh at it and with it,

and it is a jolly, kind companion.

William Thackeray

O Happy Day, O Happy Day!  (TGIF)
Thats the opening line of one of my
favorite hymns.  The next one is.......
"for Jesus washed my sins away."
This would have been my wonderful
father's 92 birthday and I know there
was joy in Heaven when he got there.
Have a good day and a great weekend.

I bet you are really happy it is Friday. I would be. I laughed and told my husband that since he retired we have 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday! No wonder I am going insane!! lol I use to sleep in on Monday and now I can't!!  I would need the rest from hubby being home. lol Awww you can save the house for this winter when the snow is blowing. lol Enjoy the summer it won't last long. Good to get out in the yard and enjoy the fresh air. Have a blessed weekend, Janie
