BOOK 08, CHAPTER 8, PAGE 24

God has given us

these times of Joy

Psalm 81:4

Each one of us is God's special work of art.

Through us, He teaches and inspires,

delights and encourages,

informs and uplifts all those

who view our lives.

A TIME TO ENJOY

GOOD EVENING !

I’m home once more from the campground and sad to say it’s time to get things ready to go back to work tomorrow. The long weekend was very restful and for the most part full of sunshine and warmth.

On my way home today we had a badly needed rain shower. We do need rain as everything is very dry so that was a very welcome and refreshing gift. My car was very dusty from sitting at the campsite all weekend so it got a much needed bath too.

I didn’t take any new pictures for you all to see this weekend as nothing much new happened. We did get to go swimming on Saturday and I renewed my suntan a little. But for the most part I spent a lot of time in the shade keeping cool.

Next weekend we’ll be celebrating Labor Day so we decided to go with a luau theme. I will make sure to take pictures then for sure.  I've got my Hawaiin shirts all ready to wear and we have lei's for everyone to wear too!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Celebrate each season,

for you, too,

are transformed

with the turns of the earth.

Glad you had such a good time. The campsite pictures remind me of all the camping trips to the different lakes in times past. The luau will be lots of fun, too:)........alice

We have a holiday today, a Bank holiday as we do not celebrate Labor day.  We shall not be doing anything only spending it quietly and the weather is not good enough to even sit outside in the garden, very overcast at the moment and very windy.
