TGIF - IT'S FRIDAY

Chapter 1, page 13

May flowers always line your path

and sunshine light your day.

May songbirds serenade you

every step along the way.

May a rainbow run beside you

in a sky that's always blue.

And may happiness

fill your heart each day

your whole life through.

Irish Blessing

GOOD MORNING !

I wanted to add some nice Spring flowers to my post this morning, but the add pictures feature wasn't working for some reason.  This warm weather we're having brings lots of good thoughts of flowers and time spent outdoors.

It’s Friday, my favorite day of the week. Nothing really big ever happens today, it’s just that now I can go home and have 2 days to do all those thing there that need doing.

***BIG SMILE***

I hope the good Lord blesses you with a wonderful day – full of smiles and a little sunshine to warm your heart.

Ma

If one could only learn to appreciate the little things...

A song that takes you away,

for there are those who cannot hear.

The beauty of a sunset,

for there are those who cannot see.

The warmth and safety of your home,

for there are those who are homeless.

Time spent with good friends

for there are those who are lonely.

A walk along the beach

for there are those who cannot walk.

The little things are what life is all about.

Search your soul and learn to appreciate

It's the little things (and little ones - grandkids) that keep me going.

Where I live, the crocuses and daffodils are up a couple of inches, the pussywillows are out and the camellias are starting to bloom. Spring is definitely on its way.

Thank you for visiting my blog "I Love my Grunt." It's always great to hear from other people who have family serving in the military. I visit your blog often and love the pictures and images you post. I hope my blog keeps my family and friends update on thigns, but I hope it also gives people a little insight as to how military families live and cope with deployment. Hope to hear from you again soon!
