Relax

It’ll come together God has everything

Under Control

Be still, and know that I am God…

Psalm 46:10

OBJECT LESSONS

TO REMIND YOU OF

EVERYDAY TRUTHS

TOOTHPICK . . . to remind you to pick the good qualities in everyone including yourself.

RUBBERBAND . . . to remind you to be flexible. Things might not always go the way you want, but it can be worked out.

BAND-AID . . . to remind you to heal hurt feelings, either yours or someone else's.

ERASER . . . to remind you everyone makes mistakes. That's okay, we learn by our errors.

CANDY KISS . . . to remind you everyone needs a hug or a compliment every day.

MINT . . . to remind you that you are worth a mint to your family.

BUBBLE GUM . . . to remind you to stick with it and you can accomplish anything.

PENCIL . . . to remind you to list your blessings every day.

TEA BAG . . . to remind you to take time to relax daily and go over that list of God's blessings. This is what makes life worth living every minute, every day.

GOOD EVENING !

It’s Sunday once again and believe me it was a beautiful one here. I’m not sure yet what the forecast for the coming week is as I didn’t even listen to the news the whole weekend. The only thing I did that could possibly be considered work was to mow the grass around all 3 campers on Friday morning. It isn’t too thick yet but it was getting pretty tall.

We got some pretty good thunderstorms on Friday evening, but then it cleared up and we were able to sit out and enjoy the campfire. We had lightening bugs out too for the first time. It was so pretty to sit at the campfire and look up and see the trees twinkling. I’ve only ever seen lightning bugs light up near the ground before. These were way up in some very tall trees and put on quite a show for us.

After a short Saturday morning rain shower it cleared up and was just beautiful. DD and I went to our Princess’ Dance Recital and then went back to the camper and got DSIL and went out to dinner. We tried out the local place down the road from us and were pleasantly surprised at how good their food was.

We were celebrating DD’s birthday which is this coming Wednesday. It is also DS#3’s birthday. They were both born on the same day but exactly one year apart.

I always have such a pretty ride down and back from the campground each weekend, I’m just sorry I can’t share pictures of it as I’m driving and the beagle doesn’t know how to use a camera.

Ohio has some beautiful countryside and most of what I go through is farm country. Some of these farms are just huge. I see cows, pigs and sheep too. Most of the ride is very hilly. Up one hill down another and you just never know what might be on the other side when you come to the top of a hill. I usually slow down a bit just incase something is there that shouldn’t be. A farmer on a tractor might be putt putting along and I’d not want to run him over.

It’s back to work tomorrow. I'm refreshed and renewed and relaxed and rested.  Nice way to start a new week for sure.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

People travel faster now,

but I do not know if they go to better things.

Willa Cather

May your summer months be joyous and fun…

And above all, blessed with love,

Ma
