CHAPTER 6, PAGE 2

When I meditated on the word GUIDANCE,

I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.

I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.

When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.

The movement doesn't flow with the music,

and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.

When one person realizes and lets the other lead,

both bodies begin to flow with the music.

One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back

or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.

It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.

The dance takes surrender, willingness,

and attentiveness from one person

and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

My eyes drew back to the word GUIDANCE.

When I saw "G," I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i." "God,

"u" and "i" dance."! God, you, and I dance.

This statement is what guidance means to me.

As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust

that I would get guidance about my life.

Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

My prayer for you today is that God's blessings and mercies be upon you and your family on this day and everyday. May you abide in Him as He abides in you.

Dance together with God, trusting Him to lead and to guide you through each season of your life.

GOOD MORNING!

It was a very quick week. We’ve finally cooled down here and the weekend should be very enjoyable. A couple of weeks ago I was hoping for warm weather. I guess I should have been more specific in my wishes. Warm as in not freezing, but not boiling hot either.

DD came by yesterday evening and I gave her 4 big buckets full of plants from flower beds. The day lilys the iris plants, the hostas and  my Black-eyed Susans all needed to be divided. They were overpowering the space they were meant to be in.

She is taking them to the summer campsite and will plant them this weekend around their camper as well as DS#1’s camper. By the time I next go to visit , I’ll be able to take some pictures of them. They should look very nice around the camper decks.

Everything we’ve planted has just multiplied greatly over the years. I’ve given away a lot and cut away a lot and they just keep growing.

I’d better get my mind out of the garden and off to work this morning !

It’s F R I D A Y !

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Life is a great and wondrous mystery, and the only thing we know that we have for sure is what is right here right now. Don't miss it.

I hope that your day is filled with a few smiles and lots of sunshine to warm your heart !

So great you are good with plants. Plants scream when they see me coming. LOL! I kill them all. I think I over-water or something. The only plant that likes me is Coleus (I don't know how to spell that). Sounds like Co-lee-us!
