CHAPTER 5, PAGE 20

O God, our help in ages past,

our hope in years to be,

Look down upon this present and see our need of thee...

For in this age of unrest, with danger all around,

We need Thy hand to lead us to higher, safer ground,

We need Thy help and counsel to make us more aware

That our safety and security lie solely in Thy care...

And as we fight for freedom make our way and purpose clear

And in our hours of danger may we feel

Thy presence near.

Helen Steiner Rice

GOOD MORNING!

Today is Armed Forces Day and as I’m the proud mom of a military man, I’m praying for him and for all our guys and gals in the military today Not only is my son in the Armed Forces, but so is his darling wife. I guess you could say so are their two adorable children. Everything that affects Mom and Dad certainly affects them too ! We don’t often think about all the sacrifices that are made by our military families. We do owe them a debt of gratitude.

I don’t believe in war, and I certainly do pray for Peace And I pray daily for our enemies. That our Lord will change their hearts.

Well DD and I are off on our road trip today to DS#1's so that we can see our Princess perform in her Dance Recital. The sun is supposed to shine ! That will make the traveling more enjoyable. I’ll have pictures tomorrow

Thought for today

The only people with whom you should try to get even are those who have helped you

 John E. Southard

May your day be blessed with a few SMILES and lots of SUNSHINE to warm your heart !
