I hope you can share a smile with someone today or enjoy some beautiful spring weather. We’ve been in a holding pattern of rain for almost a week now and the forecast says it’ll be around for awhile yet.
This evening is our dulcimer get together. Two of my friends and I have been doing this for close to 20 years now…unbelievable but true. We try for once a month, but that doesn’t always work out. Some evenings we talk and laugh more than we play music, but that’s all right ! A good laugh is music to the soul!
We talk about everything…Work, church, kids, etc. and the funny thing is we never run out of things to say either. . We’ve done Bible Studies together, we’ve hiked through the woods together, we always go to the Home and Garden Show together and much more… They really are a blessing to me.
I think that the reason we’ve remained friends for so long is that we can laugh a lot.
The mountain lap dulcimer is the only instrument I can play. It doesn’t require reading much music. In fact all my music books are play by number.
KISMIF -- Keep it simple – make it fun -- that is what we do !

same weather for us and its got me very down and my health is taking a beating. this is so not normal for us this time of yera. and the winds omg the winds. WOW Im so impressed this really proves that GLOBAL WARMING THEORY!!!!!!!!!!!! lol NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that is so cool that you still see your friends for 20 years. Have a great time. I'm sick of this weather here already in IL. I want a little sun and no rain.
