BOOK 08,CHAPTER 9, PAGE 17

Autumn is a reminder that each of us in beautiful in our uniqueness

AUTUMN

The season for enjoying the fullness of life -- partaking of the harvest, sharing the harvest with others, and reinvesting and saving portions of the harvest for yet another season of growth.

Denis Waitley

GOOD MORNING !

It’s OVER THE HUMP DAY!

The good news is that tomorrow is my last day of work for this week and Friday is a vacation day. The bad news is that due to the storm, the camper is without electricity so…I probably won’t get to go camping. I’m upset about that but trying to ‘shake it off.’

I so looked forward to my 3 day weekend there and now …. I’ll just keep ‘shaking it off.’ The good news is the tree fell on the power line not on the camper. People that live full time in that area probably won’t have power til the weekend.

Things are still not great in lots of places here in Ohio. I am fine, my family is all fine, and we are so blessed. I guess I can live with out a weekend at the campsite.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Change is a measure of time and,

in the autumn, time seems speeded up.

What was is not and never again will be;

what is

is change.

Edwin Teale

Fall wishes for

Simple pleasures

Beautiful memories

Love in your heart

Happy reflections

And much to be thankful for always

It will make it all the sweeter when you do visit next time and as, you say, at least it was not the camper.

Don't you just love fall colors?  I am
looking forward to the autumn leaves,
as the winds blows most of them out
of my yard.  My friend on the other hand
rakes constantly for months.   I would even
like the crisp winter days, if not for arthritis.
Gotta take the bitter with the sweet.   :o)
Sorry about the camping,  thankful for you.

I am glad that all is well.  It is amazing how that storm affected so many parts of the country.  And we are having the highest gas prices ever around here in TN due to Ike.  Shortages too.  I think some of this is not as bad as it is played up.  I know the gas station I had yesterday only had regular gas and not the premium.  I thought that was kindof odd.  You'd think that the regular would be the hardest to come by.  But anyway..I'm sorry you can't go camping this weekend.  Maybe something will change b/w now and then...if not...look forward to resting and catching up at home and the next camping trip will be that much better.  Now, isn't that something you would say to me?  lol

Autumn is my favorite time of the year. While I love summer, autumn brings that array of colours and crispness in the air only this time of the year can.
